The purchase of a home is the largest investment most of us make in our lifetimes. For this

Financing
The first step in purchasing a home, even before viewing homes, is to become pre-qualified with a
mortgage company for financing. By doing this first, you will know what costs are involved,
such as interest rates and terms. Becoming pre-qualified puts you in a better negotiation
position once we find the home you wish to purchase. I can recommend several mortgage
companies for your financing.
Finding Your Home
I conduct a very thorough search for your new home and monitor the neighborhoods you're interested in
so I find new listings immediately. I spend as much time as necessary to find the
perfect home for you. My priority is to put your interests first!
Market Analysis
Once we find the home on which you wish to make an offer, I perform an extensive Market Analysis
of comparable homes in the area. This will determine the value of the home and enables
us to make the best possible offer on the home.
Home Inspection
The most important thing for you to do is schedule an inspection of the home you're
purchasing. You cannot afford to take the seller's or seller agent's word
for the condition of the home. Obtaining a structural and systems inspection of the property
by a professional inspector insures that you are indeed purchasing what you think you're purchasing. If
possible, you should accompany the inspector so you can ask questions as you go along. A
professional inspection will include a written report containing the inspection findings. Together,
we will review the report and decide which items need to be fixed by the seller for the purchase to take
place. The repair items will be written as a contingency to the purchase contract so you're assured
any repairs will be taken care of.
Closing
I will accompany you at the closing to make sure that the financial settlement is correct.
